Wayne Morecroft Death, Obituary – We are sorry to inform you that Wayne Morecroft, one of Chigwell Construction’s longest serving members of staff, passed away yesterday following a brief illness at the young age of 57. He had been one of the company’s longest serving employees. This is a piece of news that we have to deliver to you with a heavy heart.
Wayne was given a diagnosis of brain cancer on the 27th of January, and he passed away on the 7th of February after battling the disease.
Only three weeks ago, he was working on site in his capacity as contracts manager, a role that he has held for approximately 30 years at this point in time. The Chairman of Chigwell Group, Dean Floyd, was interviewed and cited as stating. “Wayne was not only someone who worked for me but also someone who was a close friend to me over the course of more than 37 years.
He was a good friend and a wonderful worker. He was a wonderful person to be around. Since he has been such an invaluable asset to Chigwell for a significant amount of time, everyone will miss him terribly when he is no longer there. We pray that God would grant Wayne the opportunity to spend the rest of his life in peace.
Funeral services for Wayne will be place at the Forest Park Crematorium in Hainault, Essex, on March 7 at 2:00 p.m..
Chigwell Construction would like to express our most sincere condolences to Wayne’s family and friends during this most trying time by extending our sincere condolences to them. We are all deeply sorry for the loss you’ve suffered.
