Tony Holmes Death, Obituary – Mr. Tony Lynn Holmes, who resided in the Stanley Community and passed away on February 15, 2023, did so in a peaceful manner at his residence while he was surrounded by his family. He had been ill for some time. On Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., funeral services for Mr. Holmes are going to take place at the chapel of the Foreman Funeral Home. The funeral home is located in Foreman. The burial will take place in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery when it is all said and done. The Reverends Eugene Meadows and Merrill Davis will preside over the services to be held in his honor. On August 29, 1955, in the city of Andalusia, Mr. and Mrs. James L. Holmes were the proud parents of a son whom they named Tony. His entire boyhood was spent in the Stanley Community, where he assisted his father in raising cattle and worked in the family pecan business, Holmes Pecans. He is a lifelong resident of the Stanley Community. He had spent his entire life in the neighborhood.
Tony had his secondary education in Florida, and he graduated from high school there in 1973. Tony received his schooling in Florida. After finishing his education, he joined the family business and began growing pecans for sale as well as breeding cattle. In addition, he was involved in the cattle raising business. He continued to engage in these pursuits right up until the moment he passed away. 1973 was the year that he first met his future wife, who at the time was known by the name Lynne Warren; they got married only a few months after their initial meeting. The offspring of this union are as follows: Andrew Holmes, Rylynne Inabinett, Avery Morgan, Ashlyn Morgan, and Audrey Inabinett. There are also five grandchildren as a result of this union. All of the residents of Andalusia who are from the Stanley Community are related to one another. Brett and his wife Lori, Amanda and her husband Chris Inabinett, Ashley and her husband Justin Morgan, and Brandy and her husband Paul Hudson.
