Tim Ragas Obituary Death – Timothy Earl Ragas is suspected by the authorities of making a call to 911 on Thursday morning and revealing that he, his wife, and their two sons were going to meet their maker. Ragas, who is 43 years old, said to the person who was taking his call, “We can’t live like this anymore.”
“When you arrive at this location, you will discover four dead bodies.” When deputies from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office entered the family’s home in the 1100 block of Curtis Street in Harvey, they discovered Ragas and three other family members who had been found dead from gunshot wounds.
The Jefferson Parish Coroner’s Office has now identified Ragas along with the three other family members. In the house with him were his wife, Joanna Ragas, who was 45 years old, his son, Timothy Bruce Ragas, who was 13, and his stepson, Eric Thornblom, who was 20 years old.
The murder-suicide that took place in Harvey took place during a shockingly violent time that spanned the metropolitan area from the late hours of Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday. At a home in Marrero on Wednesday night, authorities in Jefferson Parish discovered the bodies of a 17-year-old boy and his brother, who was 21 years old.
They believe the deaths were the result of a murder-suicide. This occurred only a few hours after the New Orleans police reported a mass shooting at Chef Menteur and Bullard, in which there were seven victims, two of whom were murdered. The sheriff of Jefferson Parish, Joseph Lopinto, has stated that there is evidence that the parents, Timothy Earl and Joanna Ragas, conspired together to perform the murder-suicides because of the strain that they were under financially.
However, according to Lopinto, the investigators are not yet positive of that. Ballistic evidence will play a significant role in the investigation being conducted by the police and the coroner’s office.
