You danced like no one was watching, and the sound of your laughter had the power to completely take over the space.
Because of your extraordinary talent, you were able to coax the best performance out of everyone and everything you worked with. You taught me a lot of valuable lessons about things that we will never be able to thank you for, the most important of which are to live in the moment and to find the humor in every situation. We will never be able to thank you for teaching me these things.
We will never be able to adequately express our gratitude to you for sharing your knowledge with me. Our adventures, our late-night singalongs in the car to Alicia Keys’s music while driving through the snow while listening to her music, and our recollections of those times in our lives. You ought to have cautioned me against getting those unkempt hairstyles, but you went ahead and cut them anyway. This is in spite of the fact that we cried when you admitted that we were right and you disobeyed our advice, but you cut them anyway.
In other words, this is despite the fact that you disobeyed our advice. Please tell Chris that we adore him and that you will be remembered with respect for as long as our life goes on. Also, tell Chris that we will always remember you with respect. You, my dear, were one of a kind in every sense of the word and were truly exceptional. Take it easy, make sure you’re keeping an eye out for us, and may the Lord’s blessings continually be showered upon your wonderful mother and the man she wed.
