Steve Crowe Obituary, Former Head of Isle of IMAS Has Passed Away

Steve Crowe Obituary,Death- After a brief battle with illness, Steve Crowe, who had previously served as the Head of the Isle of Man Ambulance Service (IMAS), has sadly passed away. It is with great regret that we can confirm this news. Steve was a pioneer for innovation despite a backdrop of many years of challenges and road bumps, and he was a stickler for doing things the right way. Steve had a relentless devotion to nurturing colleagues, and he was a pioneer for innovation despite the road bumps and challenges!

Over the course of many years, he led IMAS, and as a member of a small and special team, he mentored many of our team members to become the clinicians they are today. He is fondly remembered by those who have retired for the role he played in their professional development and public service, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic. His devotion to IMAS and the coworkers he oversaw was nothing short of unwavering, and we are confident that this aspect of his life will be recalled in the future. His legacy will be carried on by the wonderful group of coworkers and clinicians who are employed by us, and by their unrelenting dedication to providing exceptional pre-hospital care to patients all over the Isle of Man.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Steve’s wife, Kerry, his two children, and the rest of his family. On behalf of IMAS and Manx Care, please accept our sincerest condolences. Rest in peace.
