Mr. Bennett was very active in the Athens Limestone Chamber of Commerce in addition to the Athens Rotary Club, where he was a member of the executive committee and held duties such as President and Secretary. In addition, Mr. Bennett was very active in the Athens Chamber of Commerce. In addition to this, he was actively involved in the neighborhood.
In addition to his participation on a diverse selection of committees, he was a member of the board of directors at First American Bank for a considerable amount of time.
