Shirley Scott Obituary, Death – We are saddened to inform you, Falcon family, that longtime teacher Shirley Scott passed away today. We wanted to share this news with you. Shirley was a friend, a leader, and a mentor to a great number of people, and they looked up to her. She was a genuine Falcon from the beginning, and she will remain one in the future!
In the year 1966, Shirley was presented with her diploma from Graham High School. Following the completion of her education at the university, she went on to work as a teacher at GHS from 1970 until the year 2010, when she finally retired. Regarding the recent passing of a member of the Scott family, please accept our sincere condolences. to all of my close friends and the rest of the Falcons community.
My dear friend Tim Scott just now informed me that his wonderful sister and our mutual friend Shirley Scott passed away this morning. Tim and I knew each other for a long time. When I heard the news, it made me feel terrible. Tim has told me over the phone that he will no longer be using Facebook, and he asked me to pass along this information to all of his Falcon family members and friends who are also on Facebook.
Shirley was revered in our community as an exceptional Master educator. In addition to being a writer, she was a friend and a guide. She left an indelible impression on the lives of a significant number of us all. Please pray that Tim and the rest of the Scott family will find the strength to get through this difficult time.
