Shannon Wade Obituary, Death – Hello, my name is Shannon Wade. You are held in high esteem by many people, and your absence will be keenly felt by all. It was an honor to work with you on stage during our senior year of high school, when our respective schools staged productions of “12 Angry Men” and “Peter Pan.” In addition to being an outstanding actor, you were a wonderful friend to everyone you knew.

You were the kindest and most accepting person anyone could ever have hoped to meet, and you were the best friend anyone could have asked for in their entire lives. You gave me a journal as a present right before I left for my trip to Haiti so that I could write everything down and then tell you about it when I got back. I am so grateful for this thoughtful gesture. You were absolutely right, Shannon; we did find that our lives were profoundly altered as a result of taking that trip together.

I kept a travel journal to record everything that happened on that trip so that I could tell you about it in its entirety later. I am so sorry that we were not able to talk about this matter together when the opportunity arose. When I need to remember something important, I look at it, as it has always been one of the items in my possession that I have most valued and cherished.

Because of you, I wrote down some of my thoughts while I was in Haiti, which is something that, had it not been for you, I would have never even considered doing. Once I open it, I will be able to see both you and the message you sent when I look inside. I have a deep and sincere desire to be with you for a longer period of time. It would be nice to have you here with me right now. I would finish the book off by reading it to you from cover to cover.
