Robert judkins Obituary Death – The passing of Robert W. “Bob” Judkins, a fellow crewmember who resided in Corpus Christi, Texas, on February 6, 2023, is a matter that fills us with unfathomable grief. Bob took an early retirement from L-3 Communications at NAS Corpus Christi in June 2015, after having worked there for the previous twenty years.
In addition to this, he is a proud veteran of the United States Navy, having served as a parachute rigger during the Vietnam War. He served in this capacity during the conflict. Bob was a retired member of the IAMAW Local 2916 as well as a life member of the VFW Post 8932, the DAV, and the Fleet Reserve (FRA) Branch 94.
In addition, Bob was a life member of all of the aforementioned organisations. Bob was a public safety officer at the Corpus Christi International Airport for a significant portion of his career and served in a variety of capacities there (LEO, ARFF, and EMS). In addition to that, he worked as a Reserve Deputy for the Office of the Pct. 1 Constable, as well as for the Department of the Bee County Sheriff and the Department of the Beeville Police.
Bob was born into the world on April 3, 1954, in Belchertown, Massachusetts, by his parents, Howard and Mary (Bush) (Bush). In 1971, he joined the United States Navy and moved to Beeville, Texas, prior to being deployed to Vietnam. Bob is survived by the woman he loved more than anything else in the world, Gloria; his children Ronald, Kenneth (Juan), James (Arlene), Sandra (Joe), Raymond (Cassie), and Sean (Eliza); his brother Scott (Malissa) of California, and Sister Beth (Carle) of Palmer, Massachusetts; a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and a very special “Shipmate.” Bob passed Instead of having a burial service, Bob’s ashes will be dispersed across the ocean, as was his intention. This will be done in accordance with his wishes. We are keeping watch, shipmate, so may the winds be at your back and the seas be favourable to you!
