Rob Combs Death, Obituary – Rob Combs was a close friend of many of us on the cast and crew, and his untimely passing has left us all in a state of profound grief. Rob has been a part-time employee at Parnell & Associates, Inc. for more than 20 years, and his presence will be sorely missed by all of us here. Robert D. Combs, who was 51 years old and lived in Cambridge, passed away as the result of injuries sustained in an accident on February 7th, 2023. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on April 7th, 1971. Mr. Combs received his high school education at Cambridge High School and then continued his education at Kent State. He was employed by the Guernsey County Highway Department on a full-time basis and also worked occasionally for Parnell and Associates.
He was an active member of New Pointe Church. The only thing Robert enjoyed more than spending time with his daughter Jaelyn was listening to music, working in the yard, telling stories that went on and on, and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes. Janet Kay (Burris) Combs, Robert’s wife, passed away on May 11, 2019. The couple had been married for 16 years and had their wedding on November 8, 2002.
In addition to him, his brother Steven Combs passed away. His parents, Ronald D. Combs and Rebecca A. (Klein) Combs of Cambridge, his daughter Jaelyn K. Combs of Cambridge, two step-sons, Jeff W. (& Jacki) Miller and Ryan D. (& Kirsten) Miller of Columbus, two sisters, Mary (& Chris) Mizek of Columbus and Ann Garrison of Charleston, South Carolina, as well as a niece and a nephew, Molly and Steven Garrison, are among the survivors of his passing A memorial visitation for a Buckeye sendoff will take place at the Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 12 pm to 3 pm.
