Phillip Childre Obituary, Death – St. Augustine, Florida – Erny Childre, who was 61 years old at the time of his death on January 29, 2023, went to be with our Lord after passing away to be with him. In the year 1961, on September 16th, he entered this world in the city of Reynolds, Georgia.
His son, Jackson Childre, and his daughter, Isabelle Childre, both of Saint Augustine, Florida, are his children, and they are named after him. He is also survived by his siblings Jimmy Childre Jr., Bob Childre, J.J. Childre, and Jason Childre, as well as his sisters Charlotte Childre and Angel Childre. His mother, Sylvia Swearingen Sams, resides in Saint Augustine, Florida, and his father, Jimmy Childre Sr., resides in Milledgeville, Georgia.
He was born in Saint Augustine. His grandparents, Bob and Lynda Swearingen, Sr., and Ernest and Emeline Childre, as well as his sister, Lynda Childre Kuecker, all went away before he did. Erny continued his education after graduating from the Brentwood School, which is located in Sandersville, by enrolling at the Georgia Southern University. Working for the Childre Automotive Dealerships, a family firm that he had a hand in establishing and growing, he had a fruitful and successful career.
After Erny sold you a car, you gained a friend for the rest of your life. Both the lake and the ocean were among his most beloved natural settings. He appreciated the time he got to spend outside and loved the feeling of the sun on his skin. He was very enthusiastic about both music and athletics. He found great pleasure in both his own laughter and in making the laughter of others. He had a profound connection to both his family and his close circle of pals.
Erny will be remembered warmly by his doted-upon family as well as by the individuals he was closest to and most treasured by throughout all of eternity.
