Nearly sixty years ago, Paul and Annette founded LANTIN Farms and Trucking on the family property in Comber, where Paul lived until the time of his departure. Paul enjoyed every aspect of farming, from tilling the soil to gathering the product. Over the course of more than three decades, when he wasn’t farming, he worked hard and long hours baling straw for farmers in the Essex and Kent County areas.

Paul was known for his warm and welcoming demeanor, and he was unfailingly kind in his willingness to lend a hand in any way that he could. He was passionate about his music, enjoyed moving to the beat of the music, and was known for his sharp wit. He made it a point to greet everyone and to stop and talk to them whenever he could. He was a man who was trustworthy and sincere, and as a result, he amassed a large number of friends throughout the years.

Paul and Annette cherished the time they got to spend with their children and grandkids, as well as the time they got to spend in Puerto Vallarta during the winter months and the time they got to spend driving throughout Florida in their RV. Paul will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, but especially by Annette, his children, and his grandkids. He will also be greatly missed by Mark Dietrich, who was his devoted right hand man and a wonderful friend who worked by his side for many years. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Alex Currie from VON for the excellent care that he provided for Paul in his last days.
