Mykola Losyatinsky Obituary, Death – We are writing to inform you of the passing of Mykola “Kolya” Losyatinsky, and this is a sad piece of news that we wanted to share with you. We are doing what needs to be done, albeit with very heavy hearts due to the nature of the situation. On February 12, 2023, Kolya was taken out in combat while he was defending the territory of Ukraine, which he considered to be his home. He was killed in action.
He possessed a robust sense of pride in his country. When he passes away, he will be leaving behind a devoted family who will carry on with their lives in Ukraine even after he is gone. On this, the one-year anniversary of the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, memorial events are being held across the country. We do not wish to overlook Kolya or any of the other individuals whose lives were snuffed out in such a tragic way.
We pray for the millions of people whose lives have been turned upside down as a direct result of this conflict and ask that they may find peace. We lift them up in prayer and ask that they may find it. We send up prayers in the hopes that these heinous acts will be brought to an end as soon as humanly possible. The exhibits “Ukraine’s Greatest Generation: Courage in the Midst of Chaos” and “Relentless Courage.
Ukraine and the World at War” will remain on display until March 2023. A significant number of the photographs that are currently being displayed in this exhibition contain graphic depictions of violence, injuries, and deaths that have occurred as a direct result of the war. Please be aware of this before viewing any of the displayed photographs. We ask that you please take the necessary precautions before viewing these images. Thank you for understanding. It is possible that some audiences will not feel that the content that is being presented here is appropriate for them.
