Matthew Johnson Obituary, Death – Dr. Matthew Michael Johnson was taken from us much too soon on January 18, 2023 in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina. We would like to extend our deepest condolences to Dr. Matthew Michael Johnson’s family and friends at this difficult time. Unfortunate circumstances led to the untimely passing of this man. Matthew Michael Johnson was the first child to be born to Robert Michael Johnson and Medora Jackson Johnson.
On November 23rd, 1977, he entered the world in the city of Charleston, which is located in the state of South Carolina. After graduating with a magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina Honors College, where he was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and the Phi Beta Kappa honorary society, he went on to earn his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina, in the year 2004.
Spring Valley High School is located in Columbia, South Carolina. Before that, he had been a student at the University of South Carolina’s Honors College. He went on to further his education in Boston, Massachusetts, where he finished a residency in pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital and a fellowship in dermatopathology at Harvard Medical School-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital.
Both of these institutions are affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital. Both of those paths led him to receive his diploma. It was in this location that he made his initial acquaintance with the woman who would eventually become his wife, Nicole A., who was also a resident of this place at the time.
