Kent Hallamore Obituary, Death – On February 22, 2023, Kent Edward Hallamore, a resident of Sandwich, Massachusetts (he had previously lived in Easton for 29 years), passed away while his devoted family was by his side.
Kent was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on August 21, 1963. His parents were Harold Hallamore and Constance (Tower) Hallamore. After graduating from Brockton High School in 1981, Kent went on to earn his degree in Communications from Westfield State College in 1986. During his time at Westfield State College, Kent was also a member of the United States Army National Guard.
After earning a degree in Communications, he started his long career in the information technology industry as an IT Systems and Network Engineer. Later, he moved into the field of cyber security management. His most recent position was with the Kraft group of companies. Michael first met his future wife, Linda Foley Hallamore, at a high school reunion in 1991, and the couple wed the following year.
The couple was responsible for the upbringing of three children: Nolan, Cole, and Claire. Kent was an essential member of the Easton Lacrosse Community. He coached his two boys and a large number of other young people in the town for a number of years. Kent engaged in this endeavor with a great deal of fervor and enthusiasm since it occupied a significant place in his life.
Kent’s slogan was “we are winning on the inside,” and he would repeat it regardless of the score. Because he had such a strong passion for the sport, he didn’t start playing lacrosse until he was in his forties, and his team was sarcastically called the U50 squad. Many people knew him as coach Kent, and both in his personal and professional life, he exemplified the role of a coach.
