The year 1924 saw the arrival of Cianchette into the world. She was born in the city of Pittsfield, which is situated within the boundaries of the state of Maine. It’s her birthday on the 28th of September. After having spent the majority of his life in the community that is immediately adjacent to Maine Central Institute, he eventually went on to finish his education at MCI and graduated with the Class of 1942.
In that same year, the Maine Central Institute Hall of Fame acknowledged all of his past accomplishments and chose him to become a member of the hall (1989). He will be laid to rest with full military honors in the Village Cemetery on Peltoma Avenue in Pittsfield on the afternoon of Saturday, February 18, 2023 at one o’clock in the afternoon.
The Village Cemetery is located in Pittsfield. This will take place in close proximity to the grave of his devoted wife, Evie. The town of Pittsfield is where you’ll find the cemetery in its entirety. Following the service, there will be an opportunity to share memories at a reception that will be held at Maine Central Institute in the Savage Dining Room of the Trustee Memorial Student Center between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 PM.
The reception will take place on the campus of Maine Central Institute. The event will be held at Maine Central Institute, which is located in Waterville.
