John Charles Duffy Obituary, Death – On Tuesday, John Charles Duffy, of Augheygault, lost his courageous battle with cancer. During this trying time, our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. The statement that every member of his family, including some of his grandkids and great grandchildren, would have participated in some capacity with Drumkeen United at some point in time during the course of the organization’s history is one that I feel confident in making. I have good reason to assume that this assertion of mine is correct.
Via his wife, Maureen, there is also a major connectivity to a vast extended family, and some of his relatives continue to play an important part in our Club. Moreover, this connection was established many years ago. The connection between them is due to the fact that she is his wife. John Charles was a man who was devoted to his family, who had a deep faith in God, who was a wonderful friend and neighbor, and who, over the course of his life, made a significant contribution to the neighborhood and the Parish in which he resided. John Charles passed away in 1995. He was a wonderful friend and neighbor. He was a man who was devoted to his family. The year 2002 saw the passing of John Charles. In our memories of him, we think of him as a man who was devoted to his family, who had a strong belief in God, and who was a lovely man.
His wife, Maureen, and the rest of his family, which includes his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, friends, and neighbors, will miss him very much after he passes away. During this incredibly trying and troubling time, all of them are in our thoughts, and we are aware that John Charles will be laid to rest in Dumkeen. We are sorry for the loss of John Charles. May God grant him eternal rest after the Funeral Mass that will be celebrated the next day (Friday) at twelve o’clock noon. The Mass will be held the day after.
