Jodi Barron Obituary Somerset PA, Jodi Barron Has Died - Death

Jodi Barron Obituary, Death – Jodi L. Barron, age 47, the devoted mother to Gabriella (Gabi) and Margo Barron, passed away on February 7, 2023, in the comfort of her own home, following a valiant battle with breast cancer. She was the only child of her parents, James F. Barron and Kathy (Miller) Barron, and was born on April 11, 1975 in Somerset. Her maternal grandfathers, Kenneth Williams and Ralph Miller, as well as her paternal grandparents, N.B. Barron and Ruth (Tinkey) Barron, all away before she was born.

Jodi is survived by her parents; daughters; partner of 18 years, David (Jay) Walker; sister, Jennifer Johnson; maternal grandmother, Janice (Baer) Williams; nieces, Megan Johnson, Samantha (Zachary) Lantz; nephew Zechariah Spencer; great niece, Raelynn Lantz; great nephews, Hendricks Lantz and Kaison (Budders) Berkley; along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends Jodi is a registered massage therapist and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Mount Aloysius in 2002.

She attended Somerset Area High School and graduated in 1993. Her most recent position was with Barron Trucking LLC, where she worked for a while. Jodi was a joyful and loving free spirit who followed the rhythm of her own drum. She had a lot of fun. Her favorite activities included taking trips in her convertible with the top down, gardening, attending auctions, shopping for “treasures,” and eating cheeseburgers. She cherished the time she got to spend with her lifelong friends, the “Girls,” as well as her daughters, her dog Clyde, and her horse. Her life was not devoid of difficulty at any point.

She never gave up or backed down from the struggle, no matter how difficult the circumstances she was in were. Her tenacity and refusal to give up will live on in her children, who will carry on her battling spirit. She will always live on in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to have known and loved her. The family of Jodi would like to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to the members of the ProMedica staff including Brittany, Kim, Kelly, and Kristie for their assistance with Jodi’s care. MILLER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY of Somerset is in charge of the arrangements. On Saturday, March 18, 2023, a gathering to celebrate one’s life will take place at the Hitching Post Barn in Somerset, Pennsylvania.
