Jeff Adams Obituary, Death – On November 7, 2022, Jeffrey Paul Adams, also known as “Uncle,” passed away as he was surrounded by his family. When Jeff was born on June 8, 1969, he was given a diagnosis of kidney failure and faced the possibility of a lifetime of medical problems. Despite this, his abrupt passing came as a complete shock to everyone. In 1985, Jeff had a kidney transplant from his sister Jennifer, which has been a true gift of life for him for the subsequent 35 years. Jeff received his education at St. Vincent Elementary School and St. Vincent High School, from which he graduated in 1987. He attended St. Mary’s College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in the year 1991.
Jeff was an early innovator in the field of medical informatics, creating a company that went on to great success. Following his retirement, Jeff gave his time as a coach at SVHS and also served on the school’s Board of Regents. Jeff was a keen follower of sports and a hunter of deer. He treasured his time spent hunting on the Eagle Rock Ranch to the west of Ukiah as much as he did his time spent on the golf course. Jeff placed a very high value on his ties with both his family and his friends.
It was well known that he had an incredible memory for dates and events, and he maintained tight contact with a large number of people. Jeff’s family includes his four grandparents, his father Michael Adams, several aunts and uncles, and several other relatives who have passed away before him. His mother, Fran Adams (née Bogner), his sister Jennifer Martin (Richard), his nephews Joshua and Adam Martin, and his niece Olivia Martin, as well as a large number of aunts, uncles, and cousins, are among those who survive him.
Visitation is scheduled to take place at Parent-Sorenson Mortuary on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM. At St. James Catholic Church, a Funeral Mass is scheduled to take place on the morning of Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 11:00 am.
