Jamie Lee Nagy Death, Obituary – On Thursday, February 2, 2023, Jamie Lee Nagy, age 40, of Tioga, Pennsylvania, passed away at the UPMC Williamsport medical facility located in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. On the morning of Tuesday, March 9, 1982, at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, Jamie was brought into the world through the process of delivery.
His parents, Phillip and Brenda (Knapp) Nagy, were the parents of his offspring. He was their child. Jamie was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania, and had spent his entire life working on farms. His family includes his wife Rhonda (Wood) Nagy of Tioga, Pennsylvania, his daughter Gabby Nagy of Tioga, Pennsylvania, his parents Phillip and
Brenda Nagy of Middlebury Center, Pennsylvania, his brother Lewis (Amanda) Nagy of Tioga, Pennsylvania, his sister Heather (Chris) Shelmire of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, his maternal grandmother Betty Dilly Knapp of Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania, his brother-in-law Geoffrey (Jolene) George Jamie Jamie’s father’s parents, Lewis and Wilma Nagy, were his maternal grandparents.
Activities such as fishing, coloring, spotlighting, driving tractors and four-wheelers, and simply being outside were some of his favorite ways to pass the time. He treasured the time he got to spend with his family, especially with his daughter Gabby, as well as with his one-of-a-kind canine companion and best friend for the rest of his life, Mecoe. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects to the deceased at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. in Mansfield, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., specifically. Following the viewing, at one o’clock in the afternoon, there will be a funeral service with Pastor Harry Adlar presiding over the proceedings.
