Fikri Töre Death, Obituary – Following the announcement of Fikri Tore’s departure, we have been left in a state of complete shock and despair.
Over the course of the previous few years, he has been honored with one of our scholarship prizes on multiple occasions.

We are writing to tell you that Fikri Kamel Farhood, who formerly lived in Lawton, Oklahoma, died away on February 4, 2022. Our hearts go out to you and your family at this most difficult time.
He had 86 years under his belt. Please take a moment to leave a message of condolence for Fikri Kamel Farhood’s family on the memorial page that has been set up on this website. Before he was born, his parents, Kamel Farhood and Rosa Farhood (Deeba), together with his siblings Farid, Victoria, Fahkri, Victor, Farida, Fayez, Fehmi, Fomia, and Philomene, had already passed away.
His grandparents also predeceased him. He was given the name of his mother at birth. He is also survived by a great number of relatives and friends who were very close to him, including cousins, nieces, nephews, and pals. Memorial contributions can be sent in his honor to the Rene Moawad Foundation, which is a non-profit organization established in the District of Columbia that provides direct humanitarian aid to people who are suffering in Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent in his honor to the organization.
