Fernanda Almada Death, Obituary – The Fresno County Coroner’s Office was able to positively identify Fernanda Perez-Almada as the victim of the hit-and-run accident that occurred on Friday evening. The collision involved a vehicle that was struck from behind by another vehicle. At the time of the event, Fernanda Perez-Almada was just thirteen years old. The seventh grade was the most recent level of schooling that Fernanda had finished before reaching this level.
Perez-Almada was on her way home from school when she was hit by a car, as determined by the results of the inquiry that was carried out by the authorities. The collision occurred around 6:20 in the evening close to the intersection of Madsen Avenue and Amigos Drive. Both vehicles were traveling westbound on Madsen Avenue. Almada Perez passed dead as a consequence of the injuries she sustained at the scene of the accident, despite the efforts of the medical personnel who were present at the scene of the accident to try to preserve her life as a result of the injuries she sustained.
Following the collision, the driver came to a stop on the road shoulder, and then contacted 911 to ask for assistance from the relevant authorities in the area. In the course of the inquiry, it was determined that intoxicating beverages or illicit substances did not play any part in the incident that was being looked into, and that this was confirmed by the findings of the investigation.
According to a statement that was released by the local school system, beginning the next week, when classes start back up again, students and staff members at the school will have access to a variety of forms of emotional counseling in addition to other forms of support services.
