Dan Anderson Death, Obituary – The passing of one of the musicians who had the greatest influence on our community throughout the course of their career was recently mourned by members of our community. The genuine enthusiasm that Dan Anderson had for ceramics, art collecting, and education will continue to be passed down to subsequent generations thanks to the legacy that he has left behind.

He devoted his adult life to developing an outstanding and highly regarded clay program at SIUE and teaching a large number of students, a significant number of whom have gone on to have successful careers as artists as a result of the instruction they received from him.
