Bradley Lane Car Accident, Death – Traffic has been stopped at a crossroads in Tappahannock because a crash involving a single car that took place early on Sunday morning at the intersection of Route 17 and Road 360 resulted in a fatality. The crash took place at the intersection.
The authorities of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) have constructed a detour, which will direct northbound traffic to travel Water Lane and Wright Street rather than the original route. This detour was created due to an accident. Instead of taking the route that they had been taking in the past, drivers travelling south will instead use Eastern View Road, Cross Street, and Prince Street.
According to the officials, messaging boards and signage have been erected so that they may provide aid to cars who are navigating the detour. It has been agreed that the detour will continue to be in effect until such time as the traffic signals and poles can be fixed.
A driver was reportedly killed at 1:40 in the morning after the vehicle they were driving, a Genesis G70, collided with a stop signal at a crossroads, a parked vehicle, a fence, and a tree, all of which were in close proximity to one other. State police made the discovery and notified authorities. It has been determined by the authorities that speed was likely a contributing factor in the accident that occurred.
According to the statements provided by the law enforcement officers, the body of the driver, who was also the only occupant of the vehicle, was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner so that it could be subjected to an autopsy, investigated, and unequivocally identified.
