Alphonsus Diamond Obituary, Death- Alphonsus Diamond, a resident of Ballydermot Road, Bellaghy, passed away on Saturday, and POP was saddened to learn of his passing. Only a month ago, I had the opportunity to speak with Alphonsus at the funeral of his aunt Brigid Mackle (nee Diamond). During our conversation, he reflected on his time spent attending Clady school and working at the Hay at his aunts’ house on the old town road.
During this difficult time, I would like to extend my deepest condolences to his wife Caroline, his children Emma, Eugene, Catriona, and Christopher, his brother Patrick, his sisters Anne Higgins and Isobel, his grandchildren Darragh, Shea, and Senan, and the rest of the Diamond family. As I think about Alphonsus, I also think about John Joe and Isabel, Alphonsus’s late parents.
FAMILY NOTICE Only members of the immediate family are permitted inside this house.
