Adrian Armstead Death, Obituary – On Tuesday, a city man in his 38th year was brought into jail and charged in connection with the homicide of Adrian Armstead, who was shot to death. The police said that Roscoe Alford was brought into jail because he had a warrant out for his arrest for one count of murder. It is believed that he opened fire on Armstead on the 1200 block of Eighth Street NE on Tuesday morning at the hour of four o’clock in the morning.
In a corridor, the body of 33-year-old Armstead, who had been shot multiple times, was found lying motionless. It was found that he had passed away at the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital at 4:22 in the morning, despite the fact that members of the Canton Fire Department had transported him there in an attempt to save his life. In connection with the investigation, three additional persons were brought into custody; one of them is a 37-year-old Canton woman who is charged with obstructing justice and three charges of endangering the welfare of a child.
The other two people were both males. She was also wanted by the authorities for another felony warrant that was associated with this investigation, as stated by the authorities. According to reports, Alford was found by police at the woman’s apartment, which was also the place where the wife kept her three children. According to the paperwork that were submitted to the court, the woman is accused of lying to the authorities about where she had seen Alford, and then running away from the property when the authorities arrived there to arrest the defendant. The materials were filed with the court.
Both a 33-year-old woman from Canton and a 51-year-old woman from the city have been charged with tampering with evidence. The younger of the two women is from Canton. In addition to that, the elder woman was accused with the criminal act of impeding justice, which carries a potential prison sentence. It is alleged that she lied to the police about what she did after using bleach to clean the property where the shooting took place. The residence in question was where the shooting took place.
